Child's Play: Alice in Wonderland

Ohmigosh! I loved Alice in Wonderland when I was little and I collect little white rabbit trinkits now and then when I'm not collecting owl necklaces. And when I saw smokeypinkleopard's contest to do a look inspired by childhood, I couldn't help but do an inspired by alice in wonderland look.

I did used expensive products in this video mostly because I own the Alice in Wonderland Urban Decay palette. So here it is :D

Bronzed Beauty

I think self tanner is the best invention since butter. I mean it's good for a lot of things.
  1. It's 99.9% Cancer Free
  2. It makes us polar bears not feel so white
  3. It keeps us from being mixed up with vampires
  4. It's easy to apply
I mean the list could just go on and on about why I love self tanners. They're inexpensive and they don't give you wrinkles because there are no UV rays to break down the cells in your skin. Personally I use the Banana Boat Summer Color tanning lotion which literally turns my vampire-esq stomach to tanned perfection in literally 2 hours.

I mean, they're awesome.

I think everyone should get off of their towels and into their houses with the AC blasting and self tan instead of sitting out in the sun, getting wrinkles, and potentially cancer.

So... I'm glad I realized this before I get too old. So heed my advice please so we can find a partial cure to skin cancer!

Princess of Perisa: A Make Up Look

Hey everybody. So today I did a Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time makeup look by recreating the smudgy-sunkissed-bronze look that Princess Tamina (played by Gemma Atterton) wore in the movie.
Now I love video games and interestingly enough my dad was playing this video game when I was being born, so I have history with these characters. I've always loved video games that become movies or vice versa and I can be quite the nerd when it comes to a movie plot like this. I loved the movie with all the action and comedy between Dustan and Tamina. All around it was very entertaining and I decided that I want to be Princess Tamina (since she's a] beautiful and b] can kick butt) so I decided to recreate her look from the movie.

This was the inspiration:

And here is the video:

My Summer Foundation Routine!

Hey everyone so today I uploaded the video for my Summer Foundation Routine.

I really like this routine because it's quick and easy and it doesn't melt off my face like some do and also it's really easy to apply and takes roughly 5 minutes to do. Now the reason the video isn't 5 minutes is because I'm talking a lot, but when you don't talk it goes much quicker.

So I hope you all like it and enjoy!

Kaya Scodelario Look

Well, here it is, the first video is up. I turned it into a look for less, doing one eye with expensive brands and the other with drugstore brands.

Errand, Errands, Errands!!!!

My day tomorrow is going to be filled with errands and I'm not looking forward to it. I hate running around to places like the grocery store or the bank or even the gas station.... But I understand why they're necessary. Sometimes I wish I had a clone or a robot that would do it for me so I could stay home and sleep in. :,(

So, no openings for filming today, but I'll try to fit it in tomorrow and I have no where to go on Wednesday, so that will be another adventure in my attempts to film.

Also, just another thing that I'm thinking of adding to the channel is my weight loss over the remainder of the summer and just some meals and exercises I do, or my workout regimen, idk if anyone would really be interested in that, but, I'll post them up just in case.

And another thing.... Stephenie Meyer came out with another book called The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, and I'm reading it just because I have nothing better to read at the moment, so I might do some kind of review on that as well, even though it really has nothing to do with beauty, well, I guess smarts and brains can be beautiful, so I'll weave it in here somehow.

First Look: Kaya Scodelario

Since I live in the United States, we don't get the pleasure of having the UK show Skins on our televisions, so for me, I had to watch it online. To be honest, I preferred the second two seasons rather than the first two. While I did find Tony Stonem to be "oh so cute!" I found his sister Effy to grab my attention more with her laid back, rocker-chic style and matching smokey-eye makeup. And I found a new love for Freddie in the second set of people on the show. While I won't be doing any spoilers on the show, I will say that it definitely held my attention and if it had teams like Twilight does, I'd be totally on Team Freddie (although I do have a soft spot for JJ).

But from this show came my inspiration for my first makeup look:

I really like how she has the slight smokey eye but a natural lid with a slight pop of color to accentuate her blue eyes. And if you switch what kind of color you use on the lower lash line, it can go with any eye color.

So I'll try and film over the next few days if the lighting works out, so I'll post again once it's up.
